A Haunted Farewell

It will be a spooky conclusion for The Haunted this Sunday.

First aired on December 8, 2019, The Haunted stars Jake Cuenca and Shaina Magdayao as couple Jordan and Aileen, who reconciled just in time for their daughter’s full recovery. However, their relationship was put to test again when the haunted past gets in their way.

Unlike its predecessor Parasite Island, the series underachieved, averaging within 6-8% (based on AGB Nielsen NUTAM), and ended up losing to The Clash and later on Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko. Overall, it will conclude after 10 episodes.

Despite its shortcomings, The Haunted is considered one of the best horror series to the network’s credit. Dreamscape was able to blend family drama and horror very well in the story, adding to their reputation for multi-genre shows.
