First Yaya to Shine on Monday

Some modern fairy tales involve a housemaid falling in love with the widower who happens to be the boss. The hit series Be Careful With My Heart is among them. And another one will hit primetime with First Yaya.

The upcoming series stars Sanya Lopez as the title role, along with Gabby Concepcion as the country President. Among Sanya’s past leading roles, this marks her first titular role. Marian Rivera initially bagged the title role as this was supposedly her comeback series, but later on backed out to focus on her family amid the CoViD-19 pandemic.

First Yaya follows the life of Melody Reyes (Sanya) as the nanny of the children of a widower Vice President Glenn Acosta (Gabby), who later on becomes the President. Despite obstacles and struggles, the bond between the nanny and the president will evolve into a relationship. However, a dark secret from the past…
