False Positive’s Final Week

False Positive is on its final week. But, the issue of a pregnant man remains a hot topic.

First aired on May 2, 2022, False Positive stars Glaiza de Castro and Xian Lim as couples Yannie and Edward whose relationship slowly fell apart after the former is pregnant, leading the latter to get his curse as getting pregnant. This marks Xian’s first series with the network. The series scored an average within 9-10% (based on AGB Nielsen NUTAM) throughout its 4-week run.

Despite having a total of 19 episodes, False Positive managed to promote women empowerment and gender equality, including the reason why women shouldn’t be belittled. Xian Lim gave a good account of himself in portraying a woman trapped in a man’s body after receiving his curse. Not to mention the tandem of Buboy Villar and Herlene Budol as Malakas and Maganda respectively added more flavor to the series.
