Noontime Competition Intensifies

Noontime TV competition will never be the same again.

The fiasco began with the TVJ trio resigning from TAPE, which the Jalosloses took over a couple of months ago, and from Eat Bulaga on GMA last May 31. Not long after, the show’s remaining hosts resigned and decided to join TVJ in their next crusade.

The following week, a group of new hosts headed by Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar took over as hosts of Eat Bulaga, along with a new set of segments. A few days later, TVJ and the group, now collectively known as the Legit Dabarkads, signed up for TV5, in which they will host a variety show, which remains unnamed, but will most likely carry the Eat Bulaga branding.
