With Family Feud taking a break, Luv Is returns with a new series called Luv at First Read.

Based on the hit Wattpad series by Chixnita, the upcoming series stars Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara, the latter in dual roles. They were first paired in hit series First Lady.

In Luv at First Read, Kudos (Mavy) finds a diary and believes that its owner Abby (Kyline) is the one for him. Along the way, he also meets Angelica (Kyline), a girl who has trust issues with men. It will be a challenge for Kudos to heal Angelica’s problem and admit his feelings for her and Abby.

The misadventures of the three teens in Underage is coming to an end this Friday.

First aired on January 16, the modern adaptation of Underage stars Lexi Gonzales, Elijah Alejo and Hailey Mendes as the Serrano sisters, whose happy lives took a turn after a malicious video involving the three of them goes viral online, forcing them to face adulthood with a slew of revelations.

The series performed well throughout its entire run, averaging within 7-8% (based on AGB Nielsen NUTAM). It will conclude with a total of 78 episodes by Friday.

GMA managed to make their rendition of Underage as enjoyable as the Regal hit film with a storyline relatable to modern issues involving teenagers. After 10 years, Face To Face returns to TV5, this time with an almost different set of hosts.

Karla Estrada takes over Amy Perez as the host, alongside Alex Calleja taking over Hans Mortel as the mediator. Jun Banaag, Lorna Kapunan and Camille Garcia (who was part of the first iteration) will serve as the Trio Tagapayo. Just like before, Face To Face aims to resolve issues regarding various family and personal issues between two parties, dubbed as “pula” and “puti”.

With the blessing from Tyang Amy, one can only hope that Mama Karla and Alex can maintain the vibe of the show. The return of TV5’s most beloved barangay hall on-air awaits viewers come Monday.

First aired on October 19, 2020, Lunch Out Loud was initially TV5’s noontime show competing with the other three shows at that time. Produced by Brightlight Productions, among its hosts were Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga and Bayani Agbayani. On July 16, 2022, as part of the TV5-ABS-CBN joint agreement, it moved to an hour earlier, simulcast on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z, and renamed as Tropang LOL, while It’s Showtime moved to 3 quarter hours later, simulcast on TV5.

Lunch Out Loud is one of the shows that boosted TV5 during the pandemic. It also opened its doors to people who have lost their jobs during the period. For now, viewers have one more week of laughter and games to enjoy in this one-of-a-kind noontime show.

Viva TV beefs up TV5’s Saturday nights with Kurdapya and Team A.

Kurdapya stara Yassi Pressman on dual roles. Based on the 50s film of the same name, this marks Yassi’s return to acting since Ang Probinsyano.

Kurdapya follows the lives of twins Kuring and Daphne (Yassi), who are separated from birth. Kuring grows up in the province with her cruel extended family, while Daphne grows up with her strict father who is the president of a publishing conglomerate. Unhappy with their lives, they reunite in a strange accident, leading them to switch identities with each other. Little did they know that this will lead them to their revelations about their past.
